Overview

DOMANI: The Art of Tomorrow is a group exhibition presenting work by participants in the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists, which was launched in fiscal 1967. In this year’s special edition, coinciding with the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, we are honored to participate in the Japan Cultural Expo 2020, a program organized by the Japanese government. Based on the Expo’s theme of “Nature” and the subtitle “Landscapes in Our Age: Scarred and Reborn” 11 artists, carefully selected from a wide range of generations, will manifest various Japanese perspectives of nature.

  • Free admission on January 11 (Sat.), 2020.
  • Visitors who are under 18, including high school students will be admitted free.
  • Disabled persons (along with the one assistant) will be admitted for free upon presenting the Disabled Person’s Booklet or an equivalent form of government-issued ID.
  • Group tickets (for groups of a minimum of 20 people) can only be purchased at the National Art Center, Tokyo.
  • Tickets both Advance and General are available through the exhibition website (ONLINE TICKETS)[Open in new window], Lawson Ticket (L-code:32559), eplus. Service charges may apply. Advance tickets on sale from December 1 (Sun.), 2019 until January 10 (Fri.), 2020.
  • Visitors who present a ticket or ticket stub from another exhibition currently underway at the National Art Center, Tokyo, the Suntory Museum or the Mori Art Museum (the three facilities that make up the Roppongi Art Triangle) will be eligible for the group discount.
  • Students, faculty and staff, of “Campus Members”, can apply for group discounts.
  • Credit card (UC, Master Card, VISA, JCB, AMEX, Diners Club, DISCOVER) , e-cash (Suica, PASMO, ICOCA, etc.), iD, J-Debit and Union Pay are available for purchasing tickets.
