For a period of summer holidays, the National Art Center, Tokyo(NACT) is excited to present Picasso meets Paul Smith Family Week! During this special week, every visitor will have a chance to experience things that are limited solely to the NACT such as viewing the exhibition while chatting with family and friends, and taking part in programs.
*No pre-registration necessary. Please come directly to the venue on the day.
*Please note that when a program is completely full, you may have to wait to participate.
*Preschool and elementary school children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

- Talking and Looking at Art in the gallery of the exhibition Picasso, through the Eyes of Paul Smith

Special Exhibition Gallery 2E
“Talking and Looking at Art” will be held from 9:00 to 12:00 in the Picasso, through the Eyes of Paul Smith exhibition gallery. Enjoy viewing the artworks while chatting with your family and friends.
*This program is designed to provide families, especially those with infants and toddlers, with a more relaxed and comfortable viewing experience. Although the event is open to everyone, please understand that this is the program’s main objective.
*Re-entrying the gallery on the same day is permitted during the Family Week.
*Adults, including high school students, must have an exhibition ticket to enter the gallery.

*During the Family Week, the ticket counter is open from 8:45 a.m.

Participation is free
This hands-on activity lets you enjoy decorating a paper fan with stamps inspired by the exhibition Picasso, through the Eyes of Paul Smith. Children of all ages are welcome to join and have fun.

3F Auditorium *100 yen per Pin-On badge (Cash payment only, limited to one badge per person)
Participants can enjoy making an original Pin-On badge using materials such as stickers, pens, paper and tape with various colors and patterns. For details, please visit the Workshop page.

Childcare service
While your children enjoy fun activities, take your time exploring the exhibition with your family, spouse, or group.*Advance reservation is required.

*Childcare services are available everyday from 12:30-15:30 during the Family Week.
Facilities
- The Baby-care room is located on the basement floor. The diaper-changing area can be used freely by anyone with an infant.
- The multipurpose restrooms located on each floor are equipped with diaper-changing spaces.
- The baby strollers are available free of charge. Please ask at the information on the 1F.
- You may bring strollers to all program venues. Please use the central elevator.
- Drinks in containers with lids are permitted, and participants may hydrate inside the 3F Auditorium: workshop's venue.
- Please use the cafés and restaurant located throughout the building.
