On the evenings of May 1, 2, 8, and 9, during extended opening hours (18:00–20:00), we will present special Amplified Screenings of Mark Leckey’s Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore (1999, 14 min 45 sec), with the sound played louder than usual.
This special program is designed to enhance the experience of the work, which brings together footage spanning from 1970s Northern Soul to the early 1990s rave scene. Don’t miss this opportunity to fully immerse yourself in imagery of Britain’s underground club scene within the exhibition space at the National Art Center, Tokyo—located in Roppongi, a district synonymous with Japan’s disco and club culture.
