이 메달의 앞면과 뒷면에는 프랑스 국왕 루이 12세와 그의 두 번째 왕비인 안 드 브르타뉴의 옆모습 초상이 각각 새겨져 있습니다. 르네상스 시대에는 군주들이 도시에 들어갈 때 성대한 축제(입시식)를 거행했으며, 종종 기념 메달을 만들었습니다. 이 메달은 프랑스 남동부에 위치한 리옹에서 거행된 국왕 부부의 입시식을 기념해 제작된 것입니다.
