Serpenti

Never perceived negatively, the serpent at Bvlgari is the heir to ancient symbols. From the protectors of the Egyptian pharaohs to the household deities of the Roman Empire, the creature has been revered for its power and the belief in its eternal rebirth each time it sheds its skin.

Today recognized as one of the major Bvlgari icons of high jewelry, the Serpenti collection began in the late 1940s. Over the course of more than 75 years, the Maison has created an unlimited variety of precious snakes, with scales painted in enamel or set with gemstones, in every imaginable color. Some serpents even bear the name of the species that inspired them, while others emerge from the creativity of the workshops.
