Peridot

Lesser known to the public, this gem was nonetheless one of the favorites during the Roman Empire. Characterize by the color of olive oil, so cherished in Italian culture, it was known as “olivine” in Antiquity. More recently, scientists named it “peridot”. Embedded in a long Roman tradition, Bvlgari has used this stone with passion and continues to set it in its high jewelry creations today.
