Black

Black is perhaps one of the least used colors by Bvlgari throughout its creations, possibly perceived as too dark. While black gemstones such as onyx already occurred in high jewelry, the Maison found innovation by using hematite, black silk cords and blackened steel.

However, it is through enamel that black truly reaches its full potential at Bvlgari. From iconic serpent-inspired creations to the opulence of 1970s jewelry, black enamel has brought both elegance and boldness to the Roman High Jeweler.
