作为《合法禁药》的续作，开始在青年漫画月刊《YOUNG ACE》上连载。以风疾来到绿药局大约1年后为背景设定重新开启故事。在第1话中，四月一日作为委托人登场，可以看出本作与《xxxHolic/四月一日灵异事件簿》存在交叉的世界观。
