就读于预备校的本须和秀树某天在垃圾场捡到了名为小叽的人形电脑。在不受欢迎的青年家中突然出现“美少女”的情况，是青年漫画里的经典桥段。在面向男性的爱情喜剧的王道剧情中，本作大胆切入主题，探讨了人类与“机械”之间是否可以产生爱情这一终极命题，手法非常高明。使用圆珠笔作画，也以一种更简单的方式突显了这部作品的命题。这是CLAMP首次在青年漫画杂志上连载的作品，不难想象，继《天使领域》之后，本作为CLAMP扩大了男性粉丝群体。
