这是一部搞笑漫画，讲述了在CLAMP学园高中部就读的东国丸健多朗和秋海洞威这对高中生搭档，作为“学园特警杜克莱恩”守护着城镇的和平，采用战队形式的设定，与企图征服世界的邪恶秘密结社“妹之山商店街”展开战斗的故事。在特摄电视剧中登场的英雄们“约定俗成”的套路被反其道而用之，创造出能活跃气氛令人心情畅快的搞笑桥段，是CLAMP作品中少有的注重制造笑料的作品。本作中不仅有《怪盗千面人》的角色友情客串，甚至连《CLAMP学园侦探团》的主角都已经登场，是连接2部作品的桥梁之作。
