"Thou shalt become the breaker that destroys the heavens."

The heavens are dominated by fear under the tyrannical and ruthless rule of the King Taishakuten.

The Six Stars gathered around Ashura will destroy the heavens and then Ashura will destroy LORD YASHA. Knowing this ominous prophecy regarding the heavenly realm and himself, LORD YASHA awakened Ashura, the child of the most powerful god of war. LORD YASHA awakens and shelters Ashura. After anti-heaven rebels exterminate his entire clan, LORD YASHA resolves to overthrow King Taishakuten with Ashura.

Despite Ashura's pure and friendly childlike face, Ashura occasionally awakens as the god of destruction. And so, the Six Stars gather around LORD YASHA and Ashura. Guided by the mysterious Kujaku, the group proceeds to Zenmi Palace, where the King of Heaven awaits them.

There are those who follow fate, resist fate, and protect fate… Is even a god unable to defy a fate so cruel that it leads to destruction?

In a narrative on a grand scale, CLAMP depicts a heavenly myth showcasing the bond between two individuals who defy both the heavens and fate.
