CLAMP SCHOOL DETECTIVES

Serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly ASUKA, Mystery DX, and Comedy DX 1992–1993

It began serialization in Monthly ASUKA and ran in special issues of Mystery DX and Comedy DX. The story is set in CLAMP School, operated by the largest financial conglomerate in Japan, the Imonoyama Conglomerate. It follows Nokoru Imonoyama, a class chairman and an idol-like figure in the elementary school, along with Suoh Takamura, class secretary, and Akira Ijyuin, the class treasurer, as they work as detectives to "solve all of the problems of the women of the world" in this "one story per chapter" mystery. This work exemplifies CLAMP's signature style, featuring a diverse cast of characters, a profound grasp of entertainment evident in every chapter, and a lighthearted comedy that leaves everyone happy. The chapter titles are titles of classic movies, which adds to the fun. A TV anime adaptation was created in 1997.
